Treatment outcomes and influencing factors on patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis: a retrospective study

Introduction: Tuberculosis infection caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis is one of the most common infectious diseases, especially in countries such as Iran. The course treatment and number drugs used vary depending on severity disease parts body involved. resistant to has increased recent years. Thus, this study was conducted investigate frequency distribution response patients with Sirjan, Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional investigated all Sirjan city who had referred health centers during years 2011-2019. data collection tool a pre-prepared checklist that included information age, sex, sputum smear results, culture diabetes, patients' nationality, drug side effects, treatment. Finally, entered into SPSS version 22, analyzed. Results: In study, overall rate 83% mortality 10%. Between terms gender, nationality diabetes not statistically significant difference. Also, no difference found between pulmonary TB allergy, hepatitis other effects. Conclusion: According can be concluded none variables: result, history have an effect tuberculosis.
